Sustainable packaging for all? It’s simple with zerooo. zerooo is the first major deposit system for cosmetics packaging, spanning multiple brands and retailers. Soon, it will be seamlessly integrated into the existing drinks deposit system in select supermarkets and drugstores – with no extra effort required.
Empties instead of flotsam
The cosmetics industry faces a big issue with unnecessary packaging and plastic waste. We’re addressing this with the zerooo deposit bottle: it not only significantly reduces plastic waste but also uses fewer resources, energy, and water. Its eco and carbon footprint are far superior to conventional recycled bottles, demonstrating how a true circular economy can work in the cosmetics sector.

Rethinking reusability and recycling
The reusable concept marks a crucial step toward creating closed resource cycles in the cosmetics industry. With the zerooo deposit system, empty bottles are collected, cleaned, and refilled—true reuse at its finest! Once the bottles are no longer suitable for reuse, they are carefully sorted and sent into a pure recycling stream, ensuring minimal waste.
High-quality recyclate is produced in this process, staying within a closed cycle and transformed into new bottles. With zerooo, recycling isn’t just about reusing plastic at a lower grade—it’s about continuously repurposing it at the same high quality. There’s no need for incineration or export! Even the polypropylene caps on zerooo bottles are removed, sorted, and 100% recycled. Together with zerooo, we’re shaping a sustainable future where every bottle makes a difference.
Simply return it – here’s how it works!
The deposit bottle – it’s all about give and take. Soon, you’ll be able to return your empty i+m bottle and cap just as easily as returning reusable drink bottles—either at the checkout in participating drugstores or via reverse vending machines in selected supermarkets. When you purchase a zerooo returnable bottle, you’ll pay a €0.50 deposit, which is refunded as soon as you return it. This keeps the bottle in the reuse cycle and helps protect the environment. It couldn’t be simpler – deposit on it!
