Apricot, Coconut & Aloe Vera
While cold-pressed fair trade apricot kernel oil and coconut oil treat the skin to nurturing care, aloe vera provides it with ample moisture. The rich body cream absorbs easily and leaves the skin feeling silky smooth. The sensual scent of orange and vanilla soothes body and mind.
The Sambia Edition
The Sambia Edition is not only good for the skin; €2 per bottle goes towards supporting the work of TWIKATANE – A House for Children and Women’s Shelters for Africa e.V.
i+m built the first women’s shelter in Zambia in 2014, and since then it has been run by local women. In the meantime the women’s shelter has been extended to include a school and an orphanage. Women and children not only find refuge from abuse, but also opportunities for education and new prospects for an independent life.
Environmentally friendly packaging
The Sambia Edition offers three things at once: the finest vegan organic natural cosmetics, with a donation included in the purchase price, in environmentally-friendly packaging. The bottle (excluding the pump) is made from 100% recycled plastic, otherwise known as recyclate. This offers the following benefits to the environment in comparison with conventional plastic:
- conservation of resources — plastic that already exists can be circulated in the reusable material cycle instead of ending up in the world’s oceans;
- less waste — no new plastic packaging waste is created, and the old packaging is recycled;
- recycling economy — recycled plastic/recyclate can be recycled again;
- no fossil raw materials — absolutely no crude oil/petroleum used as a base material for new recyclate;
- less CO2 — reduced CO2 emissions when producing bottles from recyclate in contrast with new HDPE

The active ingredients
Apricot
Apricot kernel oil maintains the skin’s natural protective layer, revitalises and strengthens its elasticity. It nourishes the skin without leaving it feeling oily.
Our apricot kernel oil is fairly traded and sourced from Pakistan.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a natural component of many vegetable oils. Our added vitamin E is extracted from soya beans. In addition to its antioxidant and cell-protecting properties, it has a nourishing, smoothing and cell-renewing effect.
Coconut
Replenishing coconut oil balances the pH value of the skin and makes skin and hair supple. Biodegradable coconut surfactant has a mild cleansing effect.
Our coconut oil is fairly traded and comes from India.
