Natural deodorants vs. aluminium deodorants: Conventional deodorants with aluminium or alum constrict and close the sweat pores. This suppresses natural perspiration, which means the body is denied the cooling it needs. With our deodorants, the body's own air conditioning system can continue to run - only the formation of odours is prevented.
It's worth switching: When switching from a conventional deodorant to a natural cosmetic deodorant, you may experience increased perspiration at first. But don't panic: This regulates itself back to a natural level as soon as the sweat pores have got used to their regained freedom. The active ingredients
Sodium bicarbonate
Baking soda is a tried and tested household remedy – also against body odour. It regulates the natural pH value of the skin when sweating by neutralising excess acids before bacteria and odours can develop.
Zinc
Zinc oxide has an anti-inflammatory, absorbent and pore-refining effect. It regenerates irritated skin and additionally protects the skin from sunburn. The plant-based zinc compound zinc diricinoleate also gently deodorises.
Rosehip
Rosehip soothes and strengthens stressed skin: The extract from the Rosa Canina rose has an astringent (astringent) effect, which above all supports the healing of impure skin areas and prevents further inflammation.
